Little Man insisted on being '100% up in my grill' while I was sewing on Saturday, so I insisted that he help. See his cute little paw on the back-stitch knob?
See what I mean by 'up in my grill'? He shot this photo at very close range.
And here's what happened when he jumped on my back one too many times. Also his photo.
Ultimately, it was a huge success.
We dashed next door to meet his next-door-BF (aka Tinkerbell, also a Mafia creation) and traipsed through the neighborhood gathering candy.
I must confess -- I trained Little Man to grab the "orange squares" whenever possible. tee-hee...

Way to train him! I would have never thought of teaching a kid to go for an "orange square," but it makes perfect sense. Now, could you send some of them my way? ;)
So cute! I love that the neighbor went as tinkerbell.
ha! very cute. joe likes the orange squares too.
'Reach for the orange square', he'll be thanking you for that bit of parental wisdom for many years to come.
Oh how cute are they!! There's some orange squares at my house. But I wonder how many he actually gets to eat before the midnight goblins get them?
OMG, kids as means to getting ME more candy. Never thunk it...
off to find my own orange square...
Very cute costumes. I have my trained to go for the good stuff, but still need to work on them giving it to me and not eating it themselves.
If there are extra orange squares Chez Mafia, I would be happy to get rid of them for you!
So gald you mentioned it, since tonight is PeachPit's turn! Great costumes!
You did an amazing job on the costumes. I hope little man had fun with tinkerbell and dora!
You are brilliant! The orange squares are my favorite too. They all look so super cute, good job, mom.
you are awesome! please send orange squares, as many as can be spared, ASAP. This reminds me of how at allowance time, my dad would encourage me to take the "silver money" instaed of a dollar bill. "this one is just paper, but THIS is silver!" he would say.
My neighbor kids just informed me that they don't eat anything with peanuts--and I don't think it's because they're allergic. Just means more for me...
Great job on all counts -- especially his looking out for you. ;)
Little man is so adorable--will he be using the costume after trick-or treating?
What about that other Halloween activity--closing on your house?
the costumes came out rockin'- and the cuties are stinkin' cute-a-rific. somehow you manage to do it all...love the pic of you all freaky. xo
Adorable. And that's a VERY good rule.
