Tibetan food

In case I haven't mentioned it before, Northampton (Lesbian Mecca) is my favorite place on the planet. Wait, Plum Island is my favorite place on the planet. Shit. I don't know. They're both great. Anyway ... during my last trip to Noho, my ever-fabu BFF&ExGF#2 (a prize to the first one to decode my lesbo-speak) Danielle took me to my first Tibetan restaurant, the Lhasa Cafe. Oh the love. Love. Love. Dumplings, piles of veges, spicy broths, deep warm colorful pottery bowls, dumplings, firey sauces with mystery ingredients, and did I mention the dumplings? Wrap it in dough and me loves it. I never thought I'd find food that I love more than Thai from JP's Ban Chiang. Well, I did. Tibetan is my new obsession. Where am I going with this, you might ask? Here --

When "someone" in my house finds her dream job, I'm taking her smart ass for a celebratory dinner to this place. *

That would be Best Female Friend and Ex-Girlfriend Number Two. Thankyaverymuch. I suppose I probably don't count since I'm a native speaker of the, um, shall we say "tongue." heheh.

Anyway, sorry to contribute to any spiraling that might be happening, hoping for some really good money luck coming your way, and so very sorry you have to cut the coffee. That would be Bad News around here.

And next time you're in town, hey, you know CALL a girl. Kay?

I was going to go with Best Friend Forever (which is really 13 y.o. girl-speak) and Ex GF #2... runner up prize??

The place in davis is supposed to be super good! Have you been to the one in Central? So cozy- maybe that would help with the lowering of the stress level?

Hope things shift in a good way, and soon.

The one in Central Sq. has a lunch buffet. Yummy food. I'm always up for a lunch date.

Dang! MamaCate and Local Egg beat me to it. (Hmm, combine my fluency in "the tongue" with my propensity to watch lesbian-favored tv shows ... I hope DH isn't too worried!)

Okay, so I wasn't first, but I knew it! I knew it! Do I get any extra points not only for knowing it, but also for BEING exGF#3?

I was close, that makes me proud I'm not so out of it after all! The Tibetan place in Central Square is wonderful especially on cold days when they have lots of steamy broths and soups. We should go sometime.

Hope the frackin' car troubles go away soon.
