Favorite Things Monday - Halloween

Little Man insisted on being '100% up in my grill' while I was sewing on Saturday, so I insisted that he help. See his cute little paw on the back-stitch knob?

See what I mean by 'up in my grill'? He shot this photo at very close range.

And here's what happened when he jumped on my back one too many times. Also his photo.

Ultimately, it was a huge success.

We dashed next door to meet his next-door-BF (aka Tinkerbell, also a Mafia creation) and traipsed through the neighborhood gathering candy.

I must confess -- I trained Little Man to grab the "orange squares" whenever possible. tee-hee...

'Reach for the orange square', he'll be thanking you for that bit of parental wisdom for many years to come.

Very cute costumes. I have my trained to go for the good stuff, but still need to work on them giving it to me and not eating it themselves.

you are awesome! please send orange squares, as many as can be spared, ASAP. This reminds me of how at allowance time, my dad would encourage me to take the "silver money" instaed of a dollar bill. "this one is just paper, but THIS is silver!" he would say.

My neighbor kids just informed me that they don't eat anything with peanuts--and I don't think it's because they're allergic. Just means more for me...

Little man is so adorable--will he be using the costume after trick-or treating?

What about that other Halloween activity--closing on your house?
